New Release
New 1984 aircheck!

Wlir group member Motnow has released tape archive 7 for review by WLIR enthusiasts everywhere. This large mp3 download can be obtained by pointing your web browser to http://www.sendspace.com/file/nqgc9s.

The 70 MG sound file is also being added to the aircheck registry and the tidbits about the items found on this sound file will be available in a short time from our website!

Motnow has been releasing about 2-3 airchecks every 6 to 8 weeks since the WLIR signal as we know it went off the airwaves.

Starting with 1983 and moving into 1984, this most recent release provides us with a better understanding of the diveristy and degree of deeper and more obsecure hits under the program direction of Denis McNamera, known in the field to be the innovator of the original sound after the station left it's progressive rock format of the 1970s.
