Our Archives...

With over 25 hours of WLIR/WDRE recordings logged and digitized, I am enjoying the process of hearing the scoped and unscoped tracks, band station intros, and local commercial jingles which ran during the 80s and 90s on the 92.7 radio dial!

Anyone know anything about the true benefits of using expensive specialized sound card hardware and software solutions as a way to archive audio taped material??? If so, I would love to hear from you and maybe learn a new technique or two at completing my collection before too long...

92.7 Aircheck Registry is now open!!!!

The registry that was discussed and presented in past forum discussion articles is now open to research or further investigation by you.

Once complete the registry will highlight the following:

  • the approximate lineage of the source (date, time, unscoped or unscoped status)
  • awareness of either mono, stereo, or other recording method
  • track listing of song titles, spoof or background on contents of the recording

For more on this click the Research link above to select 92.7 Aircheck Registry or click here.
