Upon discovering a copy of an old WDRE chart show from April of 1989 and yet another from the early summer of 1990, I had an opportunity to listen to and interesting conversation between Malibu Sue and Denis McNamera.
It would appear that the wiki entry for WLIR-FM has been changed to reflect that the station is no longer playing alternative music. While still a member of the Jared Broadcasting Company, much of the air personality listing and memorable moments and shows had been removed from the latest entry on the site.
Completed another aircheck earlier this morning. This one from May 16 & 17 of 1997. On-Air Djs included Chris King and Malibu Sue showcasing a rather ordinary time in post 90s musical WLIR history.
